The Elements of a Good Diet Plan
A good diet for an overweight teen includes one that recognizes the fact, that a teenager's body is still growing. This is so important because many modern diet plans attempt to simply cut out a specific food group. And while this may result in short term weight loss, it doesn't do much for the future.
Teenagers need to learn how to eat correctly, so education should be key to any weight loss plan created for teens. They need to know how to choose healthy meals and snacks, and not simply rely on a specific diet plan. Don't get me wrong, a set diet plan is ok to jumpstart weight loss, but teens must also learn how to eat well for the long term.
